6 - Tweaking fur and adding diffuse maps

After finishing the armor pieces I got to the point that I wasn't satisfied with the fur look. I went ahead and added some diffuse textures and used a ramp to plug them into a root and tip position. I also took some time to tweak the clumping and general shape of the fur to make it look a bit more natural.
I also tweaked the density a little since the nose area was to densely populated and the reference showed the skin underneath. After tweaking the density I used to drive the hair thickness with the density map as well, this way the hairs were a little thinner as the density decreased, so the hairs on the nose were a little more subtle.
After some experimenting I got a pretty decent result and went ahead to start making more armor pieces.
